Developer cooldadev has explained that the reason for the increase in price is the added feature of receiving a guaranteed chat tag with each key. This makes sound, practical sense - a feature was added so the value is higher so the price must be increased.
So, the price of seasonal keys should be lowered to reflect their lesser value when their status as "lifetime reclaimable" was removed. The reclaim vault change removed this feature, so the price of seasonal keys should be decreased to the previous price point or further below that. That no one on Factions uses their seasonals anymore demonstrates their diminished value.
