Server Rules

By connecting to LemonCloud, or by using any of our services, you agree to all of the following rules.

LemonCloud strives to be an enjoyable and safe environment for all those in our community. To achieve this, we have formulated specific rules and corresponding punishments that are enforced by our staff team. If you see an individual neglecting any of the following and there are no staff members present, then make sure to submit a player report.

We cannot list every single way that it is possible to break a rule or how we enforce situations, so we ask that you use common sense in situations where the rule may not be listed. Breaking certain rules, such as Disallowed Modifications or Bug Abuse, may result in a loss or wipe of progress. If there's an action or rule that is against the rules elsewhere and you think we should feature it, please create a suggestion on our website.

Any chat messages caught by the filters or any chat otherwise not seen to the public can still be moderated, and senders are held accountable to all the rules. We cannot enforce non-blacklistable rule breaks if reported more than 14 days after the initial offence.

  • Sharing personal information
  • Sending malicious links
  • Extreme abuse of a bug

In addition to the Global Rules, the following rules apply to our Factions gamemode.

Please be aware that our rules can change at any time, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are knowledgeable about all rules and all changes. Please make sure to try and include all necessary information for your Faction ticket to be handled and use the newly created category "Report a Faction".

One Corner per Faction

Factions can only claim one corner. Additionally, inactive corners or corners claimed for the sole purpose of selling the claim for IRL money will be unclaimed.

Insiding

Any purposeful action that directly or indirectly (significantly) lowers a faction's F-Top value as a result. Insiding is a T4 Offense starting at a 7-day ban. In provable cases of Insiding, the Management, Sr. Mod and Mod Team will assist the factions in recovering lost items and valuables and if necessary rollbacks of areas affected.

This non-exhaustive list includes unclaiming land, breaking down defenses to let others in, and mining or destroying spawners.

Criteria that IS considered illegal:
  • Mining or destroying spawners within faction claimed land without permission
  • Aiding others in their efforts to destroy spawners within the faction
  • Unclaiming land to cause loss in faction value
  • Any other griefing that directly or indirectly causes (significant) faction value loss

Alternate Factions

Alternate accounts or factions cannot be used to evade any of these rules or be used to evade penalties. Using an alt faction to be able to raid factions while your Shield is active is not allowed.

Nuisance Claims

You are not allowed to inhibit another faction from filling their 16-chunk buffer, unless it is for the sake of an active raid.

Active Raid

An active raid starts when the raiding faction fires their first cannon shot. Please note that removing your spawners during a raid is prohibited. An active raid ends 10 minutes after the last cannon shot from the raiding faction.

F-Top Addendum

You are not allowed to use additional bases, cores, shells, or factions to spread out your f-top value. Value is to be placed in a single base, core, or shell. Any violation of this rule will result in penalty and potential removal of spawners.

Minimum Base Distance

There must be a minimum of 50 chunks between your base and another faction's base.

Illegal Raiding

A blanket term for anything illegal while attempting to or raiding another base or countering a cannon.

Raid Claims

When planning a raid you (or anyone in coordination with you) may not claim more than a 10x10 area for your cannon box and the walls that surround it.

Interference

No factions are allowed to interfere in active raids between the raiding faction with a cannon actively being used and the defending faction.

Illegal Cannons & Semtexing

There are only a few cannon technologies disallowed on LemonCloud:

  • A cannon capable of destroying more than one wall per button press
  • Cannons that shoot at or above the world height limit or a base roof
  • Lefty/Righty Cannons - Any cannon where the shot hits the walls or world border and then moves left or right instead of firing directly through. You may only adjust within your raid claim, not off of enemy walls.
  • Worms
  • Y1 Tunnelers
The minimum allowed cannon speed is 2 seconds. You cannot use multiple cannons at once. This applies to cannons used by the attacking faction and the counter-cannons used by the defending faction.

Cannon Claims

All cannons used for raiding must be built within a raid claim (/f raidclaim). Using normal claims (/f claim) to build, fire or protect a cannon is not allowed. Any raid attempt involving non-raid claims will be deemed illegal and result in a penalty.

Illegal Walls & Blocks

You cannot protect your base with illegal walls, illegal blocks, or blocks which are unraidable.

Disallowed blocks include: enchantment tables, walls, cobwebs, fence posts and gates, anvils, banners, enderchests and chests. Items outside of slabs that act as less than a whole block such as walls, fences are all subject to the same punishment if they're being used for defenses.

Disallowed walls include: reverse 45s (completely disallowed), regular 45s (completely disallowed), as well as hotdogs, pilters, filters.

16 Chunk Buffer Limit

You may claim up to 16 chunks outward in each direction from your base. Your buffer begins in the chunk containing your first defensive wall. Any chunk beyond that will count towards your 16 chunk buffer limit.

Walls, shells, pillars, or other structures do not extend the starting point of your buffer. The buffer starts at the innermost wall, not after. Any claims after this point have to be raidclaims that can only be used to counter the faction raiding your base.

Within your 16 chunk buffer, you may only have 8 chunks (half of your buffer) of regen walls and the rest have to be without the use of lava.

Illegal Patching

Patching with Printer, Gen Buckets or Water Buckets no matter if you are the attacker or the defender is prohibited.

Using Gen Buckets to repair your walls is only allowed after 10 minutes of the last cannon shot, signalling the end of the active raid. You cannot patch in the wilderness, only within your designated buffer for defenses.

Players using Gen Buckets to patch during an active raid or patching in the wilderness will be subject to punishment under Non/Malicious Disallowed Modifications. These cases will be starting at either a 1d (T3) or 7d (T4) ban depending on the impact to the raid, faction or ftop competition.

Watering & Boxing Spawners

If you are caught blocking off/placing water on your spawners to protect them from being taken during a raid, warnings may be issued and we may take some spawners away from your base. Water limits the number of spawners that factions can loot during a raid.

Additionally, enclosing spawners in boxes that contain no air gaps between the walls and spawners is also disallowed. Extra defenses in the way of walls, boxes for spawners within the base shell will be considered illegal defenses.

You're allowed to create boxes for your farms even if the box is made of obsidian. However, you must make an entrance (a 2x1 space) for it to not be considered extra and illegal defenses.

Removing Spawners during Active Raid

The removal of spawners during an active raid is not permitted.
