Monthly Crate Voting System

I would like to suggest introducing a system where players can vote between two custom crates each month, allowing the community to decide which armour and tool set they would prefer to see released, rather than having the monthly crate contents be a complete surprise. I have noticed a lot of players stating that they I have not been a fan of recent crates and I think this vote could increase the amount of money people spend.

Obviously, I am aware that we have a operating and down voting system on discord but to take it further I think that there could be two overall options on which we will know of beforehand and have a final vote.

At the beginning of each month, a mod could reveal two potential custom crate themes, each featuring its own unique armour, tools and designs. Players could then vote for their preferred crate through the website, Discord or an in-game voting system.

Players would have a reason to participate in Discord discussions and monthly polls, we are able choose the designs and themes they are genuinely interested in rather than potentially being disappointed by an unexpected release. i’ve seen a lot of players say that we have had too many similar crates in a row with the same colour schemes and whatnot.

I believe this would be a positive change for LemonCloud because it combines the excitement of monthly custom crate releases with meaningful community involvement. Rather than leaving players completely surprised by each release, allowing them to choose between two options would build anticipation, encourage interaction and help ensure that future crates reflect what the community actually wants.

Sounds good to me, I'm no fan of the current system. There are some suggestions is the discord post with 30+ upvotes for halloween and ten we got this crate released...

Would also like to see a 2 in 1 crate released again just like we had with ghostly/halloween.

Absolutely! I have also seen people very frustrated and feel like their votes are not listening to because of this exact reason.

I think everyone’s opinion matters, but if a suggestion is more upvoted than the other then that should be the one we get right?

Absolutely great idea honestly - It’s so disappointing seeing 20+ upvotes on a monthly suggestion, just to be given a completely random crate.. 😭

I also think an extra perk would be that patrons could suggest tags they’d like to see in monthly crates!

Honestly, I don't see how this wasn't already how it was done. This would make players way more likely to suggest crates as they would feel like their opinion is actually being heard. This would also definitely make people way more likely to purchase crate keys.. which isn't the whole point to make profit off of them? From a business standpoint there's practically no way they could go wrong with this. Have players suggest crates prior to the month, vote on the most upvoted ones prior or even first day of the month.. implement them and boom.. profit.
